Systems Analyst - Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all IT services. This includes but not limited to servers, backup systems and Active Directory. Position is also responsible for Storage Area Network (SAN), enterprise database maintenance/support and application setup/support. This position will work closely with the Application and Clinical Analyst for application server configurations and network support. Position will also work closely with other Analysts for App/DB server configurations and support.

Additionally, the Systems Analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining device monitoring for systems and infrastructure services to include alerting and notifications. This position works with other analysts for data center operations such as rack maintenance, cabling and decommissioning.

Manages network server hardware and software
Manages network client hardware and software
Coordinates efforts with other IT staff
Maintains system backups and storage
Assists in maintaining network connectivity
Utilizes IT Help Desk system

Must be able to perform all phases of the job at a satisfactory level within 3 months.
Advanced knowledge of multiple vendor server hardware and operating systems.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services.
Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2008 and above.
Understanding of basic enterprise networking concepts
Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
Knowledgeable with VMware, SQL, Linux; web development a plus

Two years of college or technical training in computer related field preferred but not required. Relevant certifications are a plus.

At least 3-5 years of job related experience. Plus experience in systems administration in a healthcare environment.
