- Top 3 technical skill sets are: Need Apache, JBoss and ATG Stack-they use RedHat Linux
- This person will be helping to convert configuration scripts over from Perl to Python
- Online ecommerce support-this group keeps sites up and running-this group does everything that managers servers
- Configuration tool-Saltstack-implementing Saltstack currently
- Java Application server management
- Have configuration management and continuous management experience-NOT a build management person
- Application support and server tuning experience needed
- Need Python (preferably) but they also use Perl and Bash scripting
BASIC PURPOSE: - This position, under direct supervision, is responsible for assisting in the daily operations for the Client online ecommerce systems, as well as associated third-party and ancillary systems.
- This position will manage and facilitate major aspects of "the weekly build process to ensure timely execution against business requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Facilitate weekly build process by assisting in scheduling related activities and obtaining appropriate approvals.
- Maintain testing and development application environments.
Assist in Business Requirements documentation.
Provide on-call support for critical ecommerce transactional systems and support tools and will require substantial after-hours and on-call work.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the web sites and associated systems.

Interacts daily with Managers, Project Leaders, Application Developers, and Design Team.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:
- Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent business/technical experience.
- Internet/eCommerce/Technology experience.
- Web design experience and familiarity with the traditional aspects of designing, developing and
- deploying Internet sites.
- Knowledge and understanding of how to monitor and troubleshoot online problems, from both an
- infrastructure as well as an application perspective.
- Strong analytical skills with emphasis on problem resolution management.
- Ability to assess scope and impact of problem conditions and seek appropriate direction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
- Red Hat Linux experience
- Experience with Apache, Java application servers ie. JBOSS, Websphere, and systems
- < >Experience scripting Perl and bash shell languages
- Experience with an OO language such as Java and or Python
- eCommerce related certifications
- Understanding of Configuration Management as well as Continuous integration practices a plus
