Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in engineering or IT
- RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8, and 9
- RedHat Enterprise Virtualization - Management
- Openshift Container Platform
- Container creationg and deployment
- Syslog Monitoring and Maintenance
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
- Linux Security Hardening (DISA STIGS and Nessus Scanning)
- Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux) debugging and policy development
- RAID Storage Principals
- RedHat Package Management Repository Management (RPM createrepo/mrepo)
- Version Control (GIT, Mercurial)
- Advanced Scripting ( Bash, python)
- Virtualization Experience (Provisioning - Management (Platform Agnostic)
Desired Skills
- Familiar with IA Controls, back up and restoration operations for UNIX and Linux operating system using commercial off the shelf products (COTS). Ability to create a manual restoration process or scripted implementation for both backup and recovery operations.
- Skills associated with the installation of RHEL systems utilizing and creating Kick-start scripts.
- Skills associated with installation, maintenance and operations of COC servers, communications configuration, IPTables and Firewall configurations, and multicast communications
Description
- Deploys and Manages RHEL OpenShift
- Automates installs and deployments of containers
- Creates RHEL kick start installation media to install custom Red Hat Enterprise OS images
- Performs software integration and engineering, as well as maintenance, of existing Intelligence and Operational Systems
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues and provides appropriate support to identify and solve problems
- Maintains the system Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA) compliance and system security configurations
- Performs research and design of complicated computer systems as needed, and authors white papers on new technologies for insertion into program functions
- Writes scripts, programs, and other tools as needed to ensure the program meets contract requirements
