Role Description: Designs, develops and oversees system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews. Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.

Minimum Required Skills/Experience:
- 12+ years of System Architect experience including:
- Solution/Software Architecture
- Application and System Design
- Experience with standard Enterprise Architecture methodologies and frameworks ( eg. Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA))
- Experience AWS Architecture (hands-on knowledge), Service Oriented Architecture design Principles, Message Architecture (TIBCO,MQ), DB
- Architecture (Oracle,MS SQLServer), JAVA J2EE, Web Design Architecture
- Strong Leadership skills. Strong bussiness acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
- Serves as top consultant to: areas of technical research, technical capabilities and engineering matters.
- Excellent communications skills. Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing.
- Development background in Java and SQL
- Experience working with Micro-services, SQL/NO-SQL, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience/Knowledge working with architectural tools such as Erwin, System Architect, MS Visio, EA Sparx
