Preferred Skills
* 12+ years' experience with Data Center & MEP systems.
* 5+ years in Tier II+ Data Center environments
* BA/BS degree+
* Must have knowledge of all elements of a Data Center environment; mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire suppressant, physical security, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) & Asset Management, etc...
* Experience with OSHA policies
* Must have knowledge of all technical infrastructure components of a Data Center environment: Structured Cabling Solutions for both network and storage data environments
* Experience with Data Center infrastructure technology components including but not limited to, Servers, SAN Switches, Networks, Security Appliances, SAN/NAS storage, structured cabling, RPPs, Floor PDUs, Rack PDUs, Racks & Components, Engineered Solutions (Mainframe, Oracle Exadata, Client Tandem, Hadoop, Teradata, etc...)
* Experience with strategic planning and development of engineering requirements related to the development, design and construction of Data Centers.
* Experience with Data Center consolidation, equipment decommissions, migrations and virtualization initiatives
* Experience transforming legacy data centers & MEP environments
* Expert knowledge of critical systems monitoring
* General knowledge of change control
* General knowledge across all operating systems
* General knowledge service desk based ticket assignments
* Experience in building actionable metrics
* Experience creating, managing, & maintaining service catalogs and SLAs
* Experience creating & managing a critical infrastructure PM program
* Strong understanding of financial/budgeting concepts
* Strong understanding of procurement processes
* Microsoft Office
* Experience with ServiceNow
* Experience with PowerLogic
* Experience with Scada
* Experience with Cell Watch
* Experience with BTech
* Experience with Alerton systems
* Experience with Fike fire protection systems
* Experience with DCIM/Asset Management/CMDB tools
* Professional Engineering license (P.E.)
* Experience with CAD
Soft Skills Needed
* Strong written & verbal communications skills, presentation & facilitation skills
* Ability to influence business owners, senior management, and matrixed engineers/architects.
* Ability to work in a matrixed resource environment to accomplish goals and meet schedules
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
