System One is seeking Systems Engineers (all disciplines) for long-term contract opportunities with our client supporting nuclear power plant evaluation, design, modification, and start-up projects in Middletown, Pennsylvania.
Local candidates preferred. Per Diem available for non-local candidates.
Nuclear industry experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Completes engineering projects by analyzing problems, organizing and controlling project elements.
- Evaluation of systems, testing, and definition of modification of existing power plant architecture, via walkdowns.
- Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods.
- Formulates and directs investigations or prototype, model and system studies, analyzing and interpreting the data obtained and recommending practical application of results.
- Demonstrates ability to perform review of complex calculations, design deliverables.
- Analyzes problems, investigates and establishes general performance specifications for components, equipment, systems, processes., etc.
- Collaborates with team members on projects to determine priorities and implications on work of others.
- Provides effective solutions and defines appropriate deliverables that the client will need to solve the issue.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from ABET accredited school.
- 5+ years relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to systems engineering of nuclear power plants.
- Knowledge and implementation of client Engineering Change Control process of nuclear power generation utilities is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance Standards.
- This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
