About the job
We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to participate and/or lead in design of complex cloud architectures. Relates technical concepts to SAS applications, Cloud and/or On-Premise Infrastructure and user needs.
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Work with sales staff on sales opportunities to gather technical requirements and craft appropriate cloud architectures to meet customer requirements and use cases
- Understand, utilize and communicate best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally
- Leverage detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities across solution domains
- Assist in the response to RFI/RFPs by crafting thorough and complete answers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 0-5 years of relevant experience required
- Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Cloud concepts (AWS, Google's Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure)
- Fantastic Communicator and able to articulate technical concepts to a wide array of audiences
- General knowledge of software, network, and database architecture
