We are seeking Systems Engineers with Flight Management Systems experience to support a Next Generation development project. Job duties include System Requirements development, System Test Case development, System Test Procedure development, and Test Execution in a bench test environment. The ideal candidate will have Aerospace experience, specifically in the Vertical Guidance functional area.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years avionics system development
- Experience in Flight Management System LRU system-level requirements development
- Experience in Flight Management System LRU verification including, test case development, manual test procedure development, and test execution in a bench environment.
- Development and integration experience of FMS for aircraft
- Experience with System/Software Development in accordance with DO-178 software development guidelines
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Willingness to perform any and all assigned day-to-day tasks
- Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done
- FMS Vertical Guidance functional area experience (preferred)
- Experience with DOORS NG (preferred)
- Familiarity with simulation tools and software development environments (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python)
Salary Range: 130,000 - 150,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
