Our Fortune 500 client, is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join their team. The successful applicant will be experienced in keeping technical infrastructure running smoothly and balancing high priority issues. You should be comfortable taking on ambiguous challenges like setting up new pre-production hardware for the first time. You should be able to define SOPs, metrics and alarms to keep equipment and test infrastructure highly available and expand the team's capabilities over time. You will be invaluable to enabling the team to move quickly and confidently with robust verification frameworks that scale with our systems.
**Job Title:** Systems Engineer III
**Location:** Redmond, WA
**Pay Range:** $57/hr - $62/hr
**Responsibilities** :
* Design, set up and maintain test fixtures to verify software on real hardware
* Utilize software and scripts for operations to keep things running and highly available
* Troubleshoot software and hardware problems with pre-production equipment
* Contribute to engineering efforts from design to implementation, solving complex technical challenges around developer and engineering productivity and velocity especially as it relates to rapid test iteration
* Design and build advanced automated build, test and release infrastructure
**Qualifications:**
* Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field.
* 2+ years of experience in any of the following: test lab support, operational hardware support
* 2+ years of experience with test automation, debugging, building test tools and testing frameworks
* 3-5 years experience
* AWS experience a huge plus
