Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer, you will oversee on-premises and Azure cloud-based technology systems with little oversight. You will work with various infrastructure components, such as physical and virtual servers, virtualization technologies, storage, backups, and support systems like DNS, NTP, DHCP, and Active Directory. You will be involved with the design, documentation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and security of the systems team's infrastructure. You will also handle proactive capacity planning, performance tuning, monitoring, and problem-solving. You will manage the Microsoft Azure environment to ensure effective deployment, governance, application management, automation, integration, and support services.
In this role, career progression is structured into three steps (I, II, Senior). Step I is the entry-level, the ideal of individuals who meet the minimum requirements of this position, offering a chance to build on foundational skills and knowledge. Step II is for individuals who have at least three years of experience in this role and have enhanced their skills through solving complex problems. The Senior step is for those with over six years of experience, exceptional proficiency, and the ability to handle complex projects independently. These steps will provide a road map for professional growth and increased responsibilities.
