Our Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions product line has a most critical segment of programs dedicated to the seeker and guidance solutions currently needed by our warfighters
Come lead the systems engineering team that is supporting the development of new warfare capabilities using your expertise
You will lead and manage a systems engineering team charged to design, deliver, and support critical mission capabilities.We are interested in candidates with people leadership, project management, and design experience, who have had a role in new development and/or established programs
Candidates must demonstrate strong technical aptitude and leadership skills
Experience leading systems engineers within multi-disciplined engineering teams through all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle is important, as the individual will be able to influence program execution and mentor engineers.Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Hold an active Secret clearanceBachelor of Science in an Engineering DisciplineBachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 10+ years of experience after the date for the completion of your Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of experience after the date for the completion of your Master’s DegreeExperience as a lead on one or more successful projects in the defense industry (US Army, US Navy)Hands-on experience in all phases of the systems engineering life cycle - Requirements Development, Design Monitoring, Systems Integration and Test/Verification of RequirementsAbility to drive activities to closureExperience working with multidiscipline engineering teamsMotivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environmentExcellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capabilityExperience presenting technical information to program teams and/or customersStrong technical writing and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle management processesPrevious supervisory and leadership experiencePrevious experience in the design of precision munitions, with emphasis on guidance systemsPrevious experience with EOIR, RF, PC board, gun-hardened designPrior Project Engineer / Control Account Manager (CAM) experience, including managing earned value metrics, such as Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience
