Job Details
Core Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot core systems and networking issues
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Disaster Recovery Planning, implementation, and testing
- Manage capacity and performance of the backup infrastructure ensuring the integrity of the infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor backup server environment, acknowledge incidents/problems, and resolving according to organization processes and procedures.
- Provide general core infrastructure support and assistance.
- Assist in the resolution of escalated support desk tickets
- Creation and maintenance of SOP and Systems Documentation
- Ensure operational compliance within departmental standards and general industry best practice.
- Sharing progress reports with leadership teams and other departments to communicate changes and implementation of new technologies.
- Lead and manage the communication with IT vendors and third-party companies.
- Analyzing network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation according to the PMBOK
- Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.
- Implementation, integration, configuration, development, and support of all stages of the SD-WAN process
- Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, designing communication networks based on Cisco Meraki technologies and equipment
- As prescribed in Kingspan IT Manual, maintain, and improve data availability, security, and integrity of the IT systems
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience / Skills
- Working knowledge of network infrastructure standards & best practices
- Cloud technology experience with an emphasis in MS Azure,
- Office365 Administration
- Systems Administration, Troubleshooting and Management
- Skilled in Windows Server 2016, 2019 Implementation, Troubleshooting & Management
- VMware & Virtualization technologies
- Microsoft Active Directory in a multi domain environment
- Security Best Practices
- Meraki networking skills as essential, HP Aruba skills are desirable
- Project Management skills
- Documentation of IT processes, procedures, systems, and incidents as appropriate
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar role in corporate environment
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Relevant industry certification CCNA, CCAP, MCSE, Azure Administrator, Azure Network Engineer are a plus.
