Experienced O365 Engineer
8+ years of overall IT experience
3+ years of experience with automation platforms and designing solutions to scale
Strong experience with working in MS 365 / Azure cloud environments
Strong experience with automation Frameworks
PowerShell scripting experience specifically with Graph and Azure function Apps
Experience with Power Platform and Power BI
Experience with Automation of Tenant configurations using Microsoft 365 related API endpoints
Experience with the Microsoft 365 Management Interfaces
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to work well on a team and collaborate with team members
Active IAT II certification or higher is required
Bachelor s Degree in related field (4 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
DUTIES:
The ideal candidate will help provide automation support for government clients
Follow software development best practices to facilitate collaboration, feature enhancement, issue tracking, testing, development, and production deployment
Implement automation of MS Tenant management and other tasks using Power Platform, PowerShell, APIs, etc.
Utilize parameter driven, declarative syntax models, when possible, to afford flexibility and simplicity to subscribing organizations
The team member will receive guidance from Department Tenant Administrators on required configurations and develop the optimal delivery methodology to deploy and maintain continuous compliance w/ desired configurations
Provides top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis
Designs architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support present technical specifications, while ensuring relevance, functionality, and adaptability for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for DoD architectures
Determines and identifies high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the user community and knowledge of the enterprise architectures
Implement Policy as Code (PaC) using platforms like Ansible, Terraform, M365DSC, etc
Interacts with project management to plan project schedules and technical direction
Develops software design documents and technology white papers. Instrumental in selection of development tools
Develops high-level system design diagrams, testing, and documentation
Responsible for quality assurance reviews and evaluation of existing and new software products
