- The Linux/Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system security reports to identify potential compliance violations on both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- They will then work to develop and implement remediation plans to address these findings, ensuring systems meet the organization's security benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
- This role requires a strong understanding of both Linux and Windows administration along with a working knowledge of common compliance frameworks.
- The engineer will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and identify the root cause of compliance failures.
- They must also possess excellent communication skills to document remediation procedures and collaborate with system administrators to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Active Directory and Windows administration/troubleshooting/security
- 5+ years working in security implementations for Windows and Linux systems
- Good understanding of PowerShell and Linux shell scripting e.g. python
- Ideally 10+ years and minimum of 5 years
