Job description
The CBT DCT QA team works in close collaboration with business analysts, designers, and developers, from the project definition stage, through development, and final deployment into production. We employ rigorous methodologies to identify and resolve ambiguities, and to design and execute tests, and certify code. The team supports numerous applications with different technology stacks under the Fraud Prevention and Authentication (FP&A) platform.
In this position, we are looking for a Systems QA Analyst to join the Digital Channel Technologies testing team. The responsibilities include but not limited to:
Review requirements, interact with cross-functional project teams and develop test plans, complex test cases and execute testing in a highly visible, high volume fraud and authentication test team.
Partnering with our application development teams to clarify requirements and identify risks and incompatibilities with design to ensure certification of code with quality.
Analyze, test, and perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements and use cases and functional specification documents.
Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
Document all phases of QA process.
Basic qualification
3+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.
3+ yrs work experience in Software QA including creating test plan, test scenario and test scripts.
3+ years experience in database testing, proficient in writing/executing SQL queries with strong understanding of databases(oracle etc), with understanding of stored procedures, views, joins, and other functions.
3+ years of working experience with test tools such as Quality Center(ALM) and Defect tracking tool.
Must be willing and ability to work with remote teams across different time zones and adjust work schedule as needed.
Can demonstrate understanding of multiple operating systems including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and Mainframe systems.
3+ years experience in creating test plans, test design, test script
3+ years experience in browser/OS testing
3+ years experience in utilizing XML for SOAP web services testing
Experience and understanding of ETL batch testing
Preferred skills
Experience working with culturally diverse teams
Ability to think both tactically and strategically when required
Experience supporting a formal Release Process
3+ year experience with IBM ClearQuest
Experience in Mobile and Tablet testing.
CS degree or Equivalent work Experience
Experience in utilizing XML for SOAP web services testing
Experience in automated regression testing
