Responsibilities:
As a Systems Security Analyst, you will ensure that systems and software are secure from development through to operation and maintenance.
Here are the key responsibilities:
- Systems/Software Security: Implementing and managing security measures for systems and software throughout their lifecycle.
- Integration: Ensuring security measures are integrated into systems from the beginning.
- Testing: Conducting security tests to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Operations and Maintenance: Maintaining and updating security measures to protect systems over time.
- 3-5 years hands on experience
- Bachelor degree; degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field -preferred.
- Certifications: CKAD or CKA; AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
- Sec+ (within 6 months of onboarding)
- Must have an active Secret security clearance
- Possesses demonstrated knowledge in the following:
- Centralized logging
- Boundary defense
- Web application firewalls
- Comply2Connect
- System patching
- Role & Attribute Based Access Control (RBAC & ABAC)
- Vulnerability scanning
- Recursive DNS caching
- Cloud Native Architectures and Zero Trust
- DOD CSSP (especially Cloud One C5ISR) activities
