Description/Job Summary

OVERVIEW:

Sensor Concepts & Applications, Inc. seeks a test and evaluation manager with experience performing Test and Evaluation (T&E) of sensor and IT systems to support a federal program management office in the Metropolitan DC area. SCA supports the development, Testing and Evaluation (T&E) of inspection and surveillance systems for several agencies within the Department of Homeland Security at locations around the U.S. and abroad. Responsibilities/Duties

Organizing and controlling the Testing process.

Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software.

Quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.

Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project

Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery

Deploying and managing resources for testing

Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team

Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement.

Understanding how testing fits into the organizational structure, and clearly define its role within the organization.

Set up and analyze test data to ensure accurate and complete test evaluation, including test data collection, management, storage, and archiving

Analyze hardware and software failures and recommendations to vendors of corrective action

Develop test and evaluation master plans (TEMP)

Participate in program-level review boards, including engineering, configuration, risk, and testing

Preferred Experience

10+ years

Preferred Education

DAU T&E certifications Level 1, 2, or 3 preferred

Required Qualifications

Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.  Must have or be capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance.
