What you will do:
- Identify and initiate resolutions to existing and future client problems and concerns associated with manufacturing technology, including hardware and software, to the client’s satisfaction.
- Support, track, and resolve end-user and operational technology problems through our trouble ticket system and walk-up requests.
- Assists with planning and coordinating installation and implementation of new hardware and/or software according to department standards and procedures.
- Deploy and install devices for end users, including, but not limited to, manufacturing workstations, tablets, scanners, etc.
- Work with tier I and II Systems Administrators to support critical problems.
- Uphold the enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new and improved guidelines to ensure compatibility and better service.
- Maintain current technical expertise in the rapidly changing technology of microcomputers and utilize state-of-the-art techniques when implementing office automation solutions.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all company employees to optimize working relationships and communication.
- Travel to other locations may be required occasionally.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications Include:
- 1-2 years of PC Support/Helpdesk experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, implementing, and using Windows operating systems (server and workstation) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware issues with a working knowledge of computer hardware and its interaction.
- Proficient in understanding basic troubleshooting of networking technologies.
- Proficient in setting up and administrating users in a Microsoft Active Directory environment.
