Job Description:
To perform non-invasive neurodiagnostic tests according to established guidelines in a lab, ICU or OR setting under the supervision of a clinical manager. To employ various techniques and operate neurodiagnostic equipment to perform a vast array of neurodiagnostic procedures to test the nerves, muscles, brain, and spinal cord.
High School diploma or GED required. Currently credentialed as an Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or as a Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM) or as a Registered Nerve Conduction Studies Technologist (R.NCS.T.) by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists or other appropriate credential as required to maintain program certification by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), depending on location required.
