UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening an 11-story, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation pavilion in spring 2025. The new hospital will include 78 rehabilitation beds and the latest technology ndash; all designed to promote functional activity at every turn. Job Description:
To evaluate, plan, direct and administer prescribed occupational therapy treatments to assist patients to improve or restore their maximum functional level.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or practicing under a limited permit as an Occupational Therapist (OT) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.
