About the Job
Position Summary:
To guide and conduct biomedical research facility-related issues including but not limited to projects, renovations, space inventory, equipment, furniture, utilization, and emergency response, and liaison between UAB Auxiliary Support teams for partnering HSOM Departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of facility administrators in the Dean's Office.
- Collaborate with departments to create and execute detailed scopes of services.
- Lead a working group for Facilities personnel within HSOM Departments to foster collaboration and uphold best practices in facility management.
- Address and respond to the needs and requests of various departments as required.
- Develop and sustain systems for tracking facility service requests, procurement and repair of common equipment, and consistent equipment monitoring.
- Work with UAB Auxiliary Departments to process items and resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide updates on progress and major issues to the HSOM Executive Director of Project Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Salary Range: %2485,600 - %24139,100
Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
