Job Description:
To provide direct and indirect patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. To coordinate the physician s surgery schedule. To assist with preoperative surgery workup. To coordinate and triage patient care within a multidisciplinary setting. To practice within the scope of the LPN licensure. To assist with allergy testing. To function as an effective member of the ENT clinic staff providing care and support for all physicians and staff as needed.
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program and two (2) years of nursing experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
