Essential Job Functions:
- Support system level designs, installation, testing, and certification in aircraft Utilize principles of systems engineering and other engineering disciplines to evaluate, recommend solutions and clarify requirements
- Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
- A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline plus eight years of experience or a master’s degree plus six years of experience is required
- Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance Experience with design, integration, testing and debugging of communication systems
- Able to work in a proactive fashion with minimal supervisory oversight
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time to support witness testing events, attend program-level meetings
- Experience with troubleshooting communication and RF systems
- Experience working with SETR processes
- Experience with reviewing system specifications and design documentation while providing detailed constructive feedbackMIL-STD-1553 multiplex data bus system testing experience. SNMP testing experience Working knowledge of antenna theory and concepts
- Experience working directly with customers and vendors Experience working with ARC-210 radios Experience with NAVAIR airborne platform integration MS Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical Engineering preferred
- Active TS Security Clearance
- Familiarity with NAVAIR working environments and processes
- Willingness to work in a classified lab environment
