Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: About to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position:ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
- This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for New Hires Only
- Referral bonuses up to $3,000 for critical hires are available to employees

We are looking for a talented Embedded Software Engineering Manager to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions for military communications. This role requires strong programming skills, a solid understanding of hardware-software integration, and experience with real-time operating systems. As a software engineer for Tactical Radios team, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Software-Defined Radio systems.
What sets you apart:
- Experience leading and managing a team of 15-20 software engineers
- Experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with debugging tools and software development environments (e.g., JTAG, IDEs).
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C) and communication protocols
