Compensation: The position compensation range is $90,000-$125,000/Year+ benefits. Please note, the offer from the range will greatly depend on a candidate's relevant experience, overall fit for the position. It is rare that we offer at the top of the range.
Location: Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Irvine, California. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance, as relocation assistance is not available.
Eligibility: Only direct hires will be considered—no C2C (Corp-to-Corp), third-party companies, or 1099 contractors will be accepted for this position. Unable to sponsor now, unable to sponsor in future. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Qualifications:
Experience: Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment, must have at least 3 years managing a team of recruiters. Experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred.
Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish is a must-have
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement successful recruitment strategies within the insurance industry. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools is essential.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Summary:
Vaco is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established organization within the insurance industry. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager-Bilingual to lead and manage the recruitment function across the company’s operations. This full-time, onsite role is based in Irvine, California, requiring presence in the office 5 days per week. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in insurance, as well as those who reside within a commutable distance of the Irvine area. Please note that relocation assistance is not available.
Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Manager-Bilingual will play a critical role in driving the company’s talent acquisition efforts, with a particular focus on roles within the insurance industry. This role demands a deep understanding of the unique talent needs and regulatory requirements in the insurance sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies that attract top talent, managing a team of recruiters, and ensuring that hiring goals are met in line with the company’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, with a focus on sourcing and hiring talent that meets the specific demands of the insurance industry.
Industry-Specific Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to design and implement recruitment strategies that address the unique challenges and needs of the insurance sector, including roles related to underwriting, claims, compliance, and actuarial functions.
Full Lifecycle Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding, with a particular emphasis on finding candidates with insurance industry experience. Ensure a smooth and efficient process that aligns with industry-specific compliance and regulatory requirements.
Talent Acquisition: Partner with department heads, especially within insurance-related functions, to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans that attract high-caliber candidates familiar with the insurance landscape.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs for the recruitment team, with a focus on metrics relevant to the insurance industry, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and retention rates in industry-specific roles.
Employer Branding: Enhance the company’s employer brand within the insurance industry, positioning the company as an employer of choice for top talent in this sector.
Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards specific to the insurance industry, including any state or federal requirements.
