Job Overview
This role is the primary point of contact for and provides critical support to candidates, hiring managers, and internal HR and business stakeholders to provide an excellent onboarding experience for newly hired employees. They are responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new employee.
Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm/ Monday - Friday
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. One (1) year of clerical or related administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
2. Three (3) years of clerical or related administrative experience.
3. Applicant tracking system (ATS) experience.
4. Recruitment, human resources, or onboarding experience.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
1. Welcomes newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding process including the coordination of the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.
2. Conducts background screening and reference checks as required.
3. Completes electronic onboarding process for all newly hired employees.
4. Schedules in person or virtual onboarding for all new hires prior to their orientation and follows through with all appropriate paperwork for new hires. Ensures all documentation is complete prior to the start of orientation.
5. Arranges appointments for new hires to be cleared by Occupational Health, follows up on final clearance as appropriate.
6. Crafts and sends communication with information about the company, onboarding agenda, equipment handover, dress code, parking options, perks and similar items.
7. Ensures new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware/software and distribute manuals, passwords, and guidelines, as needed.
8. Audits data and sets up employee profiles in internal HR systems; assisting with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
