ABOUT THE POSITION

* Oversee and process the bi-weekly payroll using payroll software and is main payroll liaison who will work directly with ADP daily.
* Ensures data integrity and performs corrections and reconciliation support in partnership with Finance & Accounting.
* Processes monthly and annual audits of systems for accuracy and compliance.
* Manages maintenance of employee data in HRIS (ADP) for new hires, status changes, and personnel information.
* Manages maintenance of employee data in Unanet ERP System as pertaining to payroll processing and person profile data.
* Ensures compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) timekeeping standards.
* Supports associate training and troubleshooting with Unanet and ADP Systems.
* Manages Payroll team including Payroll Specialists and supporting admins as necessary.
* Manages maintenance of associate profiles including wage increases, changes in tax reporting, entering of new hires, processing of terminations, tracking and reconciliation of time off balances.
* Provides subject matter expertise and organizational recommendations for ensuring payroll compliance including but not limited to taxes (federal, state, & local), leave usage, holiday programs, financial benefit contributions (401k, HSA, etc.), departmental assignments, and federal wage determination in accordance with the Service Contract Act.
* Provides exemplary customer service to employees and managers regarding all payroll issues.
* Performs other related duties as necessary.
Position Requirements:
* 5+ years minimum experience in Payroll processing required.
* 2+ years' management experience required.
* Bachelors' degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
* ADP software experience, Workforce Now and Comprehensive Payroll processing, preferred.
* Unanet (ERP) System experience preferred.
* Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) preferred.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
* Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

General Areas of Accountability:
Must conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company. Must maintain a good credit rating while employed with the company.

* Follow HIPAA guidelines for protecting the privacy and security of sensitive personal and/or health information.

Performance Management:
* All Signature Performance associates are subject to regular performance management to determine if skills and training requirements are suitable for the position.
Machines and Equipment:
The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copiers and fax machines.
Physical Activity:
* The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position is sedentary in nature with minimal lifting requirements.
Working Conditions:
The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.
* Remote Eligibility: This position is Ad-hoc remote eligible. Eligibility is determined by Management or Talent Operations.
U.S. Citizenship is Required for All Positions and Work on All Positions Must Be Completed in the Continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
