About the Opportunity
The Taping Operator applies or removes tapes to the flex area or vent holes on copper plated panels and ensures that all jobs are processed in accordance with Team leader direction, Traveler information, process engineering, work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
Please Note: The work schedule consists of second shift hours (4:00pm to 12:30am), but training will take place during the first shift (7:30am to 4:00pm).
What You'll Do:
- Reads and interprets work instructions on the traveler to verify customer name, lot number and quantity; confirms that prior process was completed, signed and dated on the Traveler
- Applies tape to the flex, rigid or rigid flex area on copper plated panels
- Uses press-down machine to seal all flex areas
- Visually inspects panels after processing for non-conformances
- Removes tapes and cleans the flex areas with alcohol
- Maintains Production Log
- Performs other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read and understand documents such as Travelers, standard operating procedures, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
Added Bonus If You Have:
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment
Please note that this job is set in a manufacturing environment characterized by machinery noise and exposure to warm temperatures due to industrial ovens. In addition to prolonged sitting, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 15 pounds; as well as repetitive hand and finger motion.

- 8-hour shift
- Evening shift (Regular work schedule)
- Day shift (Training schedule)
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Potential Shifts Available:
- 2nd shift, Monday- Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am
