We are seeking a Sales Tax Accountant (Accountant, Tax) who will be responsible for ensuring compliance obligations are efficient, on time, and accurate, while minimizing the company s sales tax liabilities.
Responsibilities
" Prepare, review and file sales and use tax returns from Vertex for multiple states, to comply with state and local regulations.
Qualifications
" Bachelor's degree required (Accounting preferred), CPA helpful
" 3-5 years of multi-state sales tax accounting experience
" Experience researching tax rules and regulations for products and services.
" Proficiency with Vertex Indirect Tax O Series and Vertex Returns, or similar tax management systems required
" Oracle and Tableau experience a plus
" Strong Excel skills are required
" Ability to work independently and interact well with others
The schedule for this role is in the office for one week a month on the second/third week of the month, preferably before the 20th of each month. This role will require you to be in the office for 5 days.
