Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for our company, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct thorough financial and tax analyses to identify potential tax savings and investment opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
- Maintain and update the company's tax database to include all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Coordinate accounting staff and manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
