Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Accountant for a dynamic role that blends tax preparation, financial reporting, and client advisory services in a flexible, hybrid-remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
- Assist in tax planning and research to provide clients with optimal tax strategies.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
- Maintain and update accounting software, ensuring data accuracy.
- Communicate with clients to address accounting and tax-related inquiries.
- Stay current with tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance for all client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with individual and business returns.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and UltraTax preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
