Job Title: Tax Accountant

Position Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. This role focuses on preparing tax returns, supporting compliance, and assisting clients with tax-related questions. Recent graduates and candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Salary: $30-$35 HR

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, business, and partnership tax returns accurately and efficiently
• Conduct research on current tax laws to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings
• Maintain and organize client records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Respond to client inquiries, offering basic tax advice and clarifying complex tax concepts as needed
• Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience if no degree
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective time management
