Tax Consultant
Our client, a dynamic investment company, is seeking a Tax Consultant to join their team. This role is pivotal as the company navigates a period of significant growth and transformation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the company’s tax-related activities. This position is 100% remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the company’s tax situation.
- Ensure proper registration in all states where the company operates.
- File sales tax forms accurately and timely.
- Review and address past due tax items by state.
- Handle various ad-hoc tax-related projects and clean-up tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tax consulting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of state tax regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
