Looking for your next tax contract opportunity? Join a reputable company as a Tax Contractor in the North Dallas area! In this role, you’ll work directly with the hiring manager, utilizing your experience in income tax, provision work, and preparing robust book tax adjustments. You’ll be responsible for preparing state RTPs and federal income tax calculations. There’s potential for contract-to-hire, depending on how the contract portion goes. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare state RTPs and ensure accurate documentation and adjustments.
• Conduct extensive Excel work for data manipulation and tax calculations.
• Review depreciation schedules in relation to recent acquisitions.
• Assist with reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
• Perform federal Tax Income (TI) calculations.
• Report directly to the hiring manager and work closely with them throughout the engagement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in RTP and state provision tax processes.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
• Experience with tax preparation and reconciliations.
• Ability to work in the office at least a few days a week.
• Successful completion of a background check.
