Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all corporate tax operations, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Provide expert tax advisory services to the senior management team, helping to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Work closely with the finance team to integrate tax planning strategies into the company's overall financial planning.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the company.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and government tax authorities.
- Participate in business strategy development and provide strategic tax insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree in Taxation or a CPA designation is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a tax leadership role, preferably within the finance industry.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate tax, tax advisory, financial planning, and financial reporting.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to align tax strategy with business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical business practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in tax software and other relevant technology tools.
