Tax Intern Winter 2025 - Dallas

Our Tax practice is seeking high-performing graduates that will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client services to our valued clients as well as the opportunity to work with and receive guidance from our Tax professionals to join our Tax team as an Intern . The location for this position will be our Dallas office.

Start Date: January, 2025

What You Will Do:

• 
  Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel to obtain a better understanding of business operations, processes and functions
  
• 
  Stay informed in current economic development relevant to clients business and industry
  
• 
  Gain a thorough understanding of Mazars audit approach, methodology and tools
  
• 
  Review client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control;
  
• 
  Begin to identify accounting issues under U.S Gaap and/or IFRS; perform research to solve issues
  

What We Seek:

• 
  Education required: Must be working toward a Bachelors or Masters degree. Completed prior to September 2025 .
  
• 
  Certification requirement: Upon Education completion - Meet all educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary for the CPA license in the state in which your office will be located prior to September 2025 .
  

• 
  Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0)
  
• 
  Commitment to work 30+ hours per week (flexible schedules available)
  
• 
  Active involvement in organizations (volunteering or campus related)
  
• 
  Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
  
• 
  Motivated and hard working in order to meet client deadlines and provide excellent service to clients
  
• 
  Motivated to work as part of a team and build constructive working relationships
  
• 
  Able to operate in a paperless workplace and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  
• 
  Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx Engagement and CCH Axcess Tax is a plus but not essential
  
• 
  Ability to travel to client locations as needed
  
•
