Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team and specialize in servicing dental clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the tax compliance and consulting needs of dental practices, ensuring that they meet all regulatory requirements while optimizing their tax strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for dental clients.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting to dental practices to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial outcomes.
- Review financial statements, tax filings, and accounting records to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Work closely with dental clients to understand their business operations and provide personalized tax advice.
- Stay up-to-date on tax law changes, especially those impacting the healthcare and dental industries.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as accounting and advisory services, to deliver a comprehensive financial solution for clients.
- Assist clients with IRS audits and respond to tax notices and inquiries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dental clients, providing exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, preferably within the healthcare or dental industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws affecting dental practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
