We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is a position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of tax accounting functions for our clients that we serve. The Tax Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes. The successful candidate will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely filing of tax returns and manage audits. You will also be responsible for managing client relationships and providing expert tax advice to high net worth clients.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is a position that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of tax accounting functions for our clients that we serve. The Tax Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes. The successful candidate will work closely with our accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely filing of tax returns and manage audits. You will also be responsible for managing client relationships and providing expert tax advice to high net worth clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns and ensure accurate, timely filing.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
- Manage the preparation and review of tax forecasts, estimates, and reports.
- Conduct complex tax research and prepare tax research memorandums.
- Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits: preparing responses, creating schedules, etc.
- Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
- Manage and mentor members of the tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
- Maintain and update the company’s tax database.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Consult with high net worth clients on tax planning and tax issues related to their business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required.
- Proven experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations.
- Familiarity with U.S. federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
