Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients.
Research complex tax issues and develop well-reasoned conclusions and recommendations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with changing tax laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional service.
Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff, fostering their professional development.
Collaborate with the firm's principals and other team members to deliver integrated tax and business solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local taxes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
