Compensation: $60.00 per hour
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH)
Contract Length: Temp to Perm

Position Overview:
KBW has partnered with a top-tier investment firm to seek an experienced Tax Manager to support their Private Wealth Management group. This role involves preparing and reviewing federal and state estate, fiduciary, individual, and entity tax returns, with a focus on tax planning and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CCH ProSystem fx, with experience advising on complex tax matters, collaborating with Trust Officers and Relationship Managers, and providing tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients. Fiduciary tax knowledge is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal and state estate, fiduciary, individual, and other tax returns, including tax filings through outsourced vendors.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax advisory services to Trust Officers, Relationship Managers, attorneys, and clients on account management matters.
- Develop tax planning strategies aimed at minimizing estate and income taxes.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of tax work paper files for client accounts.
- Create financial statements and bookkeeping entries for entities such as partnerships, corporations, and private foundations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Tax Officer on complex tax matters and decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience.
- Knowledge and experience using CCH ProSystem fx is required.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong technical tax knowledge, particularly in estate, fiduciary, and individual tax.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and QuickBooks.
- Ability to perform tax research using appropriate software.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex tax provisions and strategies clearly.
