ABOUT THE POSITION:
To be a valued member of Anchin's real estate team as tax advisor delivering real estate industry-focused tax advisory and compliance services. You will become a trusted tax and business advisor to the clients you serve by providing solutions to a variety of complex tax and business issues. As a result, you will develop into an industry expert by developing your technical and client service skills with upward career mobility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary:
- A member and leader of a valued engagement team providing federal, state, and local tax compliance and consulting services to real estate clients.
- Consult with clients regarding tax and business matters.
- Proactively deliver exceptional client service in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
- Lead and plan client engagements.
- Provide tax planning and savings opportunities to the client.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional consultative solutions and services that will provide value to the client.
- Work with the other tax consulting services pertaining to tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, cost segregation and other advisory services.
- Be involved in Thought Leadership within the real estate team.
- Assist with all areas of client engagement regarding staffing, billing, and engagement economics.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Masters, Law or advanced degree desirable.
- CPA or JD required.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm to real estate clients, including supervisory and mentoring skills and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication and analytical skills.
- A track record of providing exceptional client service.
- Proficient software and Microsoft Suite skills.
Compensation:
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $140,000 to $180,000 based on individual's experience level.
