Are you a seasoned tax professional with a passion for providing top-notch tax solutions? We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is integral to our business operations and will involve working closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and corporations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of tax compliance, preparation, and advisory services. If you are a tax expert with a knack for breaking down complex tax regulations and delivering effective tax strategies, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of tax management, including tax compliance, tax preparation, and tax advisory services.
2. Provide expert advice on federal tax, SALT tax, high net worth tax, and other specialized areas of taxation.
3. Conduct thorough tax research to stay abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations.
4. Prepare comprehensive tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
5. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate tax reporting.
7. Provide guidance and leadership to junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
8. Handle tax audits and negotiate with tax authorities on behalf of our clients.
9. Continually enhance our tax processes and systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Proven expertise in tax compliance, tax preparation, tax advisory services, high net worth tax, tax research, and tax returns.
4. Solid knowledge of federal tax and SALT tax.
5. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and mentor a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficient in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
10. High level of integrity and professional ethics.
