Job Details
As a Permanent Tax Manager, you will be expected to:
- Oversee and manage all tax reporting, compliance, and planning activities.
- Stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations to ensure company compliance and advise on potential impacts of new laws on the organization.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
- Lead and coordinate audits by various taxation authorities.
- Negotiate tax dispute resolutions.
- Review and sign federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, benefit funds, real estate, and exempt organizations.
- Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests.
