Qualifications:
• Active CPA license
• 5+ years of experience in tax within public accounting
• Strong proficiency in preparing tax returns
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and ability to meet client deliverables
• Commitment to client service and satisfaction
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Upholds core values of integrity, accountability, leadership, and professionalism
• Experience with tax software such as Thomson Reuters UltraTax/Accounting CS is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Solid understanding of general accounting and accounting systems
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• In-depth knowledge of tax preparation and compliance
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax returns
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Prepare financial statements
• Handle payroll and payroll tax compliance
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices
