We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Consulting Tax Preparer to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. This exciting role will challenge your expertise in tax preparation and consulting, providing an opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing complex tax returns, offering tax advice, and developing tax strategies that align with our clients' business goals. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and consulting.

Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
2. Provide tax consulting services to clients, including tax planning and advice on tax-related issues.
3. Develop tax strategies that align with clients' business goals and objectives.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
5. Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
6. Assist clients in managing and resolving tax-related issues or disputes.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and excellent service.
8. Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand existing client relationships.
9. Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members.
10. Contribute to the improvement of tax preparation and consulting processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, EA, MST) is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and consulting.
3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
7. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Strong client service orientation and ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Proven track record of identifying opportunities for business development in the tax field.
12. Experience in training and mentoring junior staff members.
