Tax Preparer / Sr Tax Accountant at KBW Financial

KBW has partnered with a growing public accounting firm located in Burlington, MA is currently seeking a Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper. Reporting to the Director, the Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper will be responsible for preparing tax returns, reconciling bank statements and credit cards as well as handling other bookkeeping duties.

Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Preparing tax returns
• Handling bank statement and credit card reconciliations
• Assisting with bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks
• Assisting with audits
• GAAP accounting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Knowledge of GAAP guidelines
• Open to recent grads with a tax internship or Staff Accountants with prior bookkeeping experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Compensation Package:

• Compensation for this role is 60-70K depending on experience
• Good benefits
