Job Details
- Manage comprehensive tax tasks including filings for individuals, corporations, and other entities.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in tax documentation, reviewing junior associates' work.
- Take the lead in investigating tax-related challenges and staying updated with regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities to refine and expand our suite of services.
- Stay ahead of tax industry shifts, ensuring the firm remains compliant and informed.
- Mentor and support emerging talent, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
- Build and cultivate client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact.
- Direct multifaceted projects spanning tax advice, regulatory compliance, and other related areas.
- Engage with specialized tax entities to address intricate tax situations on local and national scales.
- Field and respond to external inquiries from regulatory bodies.
Desired Qualities:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a parallel field. Pursuing or holding advanced tax qualifications or CPA or EA is a plus.
- 1-5 years of immersion in tax-centric roles in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tax platforms and technological tools.
- Stellar communication abilities, both written and oral.
- Proven track record of multitasking and adhering to stringent deadlines.
- Adept at dissecting and resolving intricate tax dilemmas.
- Passion for nurturing and guiding junior professionals.
