Our Tax practice seeks an experienced professional with significant experience in tax structured transactions and deals, who excels in client deliverables, exhibits strong leadership capabilities, and has a passion for the public accounting profession, to join our Mergers and Aquisition team as a SeniorManager. This role will be focused on addressing the life cycle of a transaction (buy side/sell side) as private equity firms, hedge funds, and corporations need timely advice and insight to help maximize value, mitigate risk, and make informed investment decisions.
This is a national practice, and we offer flexible work hours and locations: in office, remote, hybrid.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as an integral part of the firm's Tax Advisory and Transaction Services Practice working in conjunction with tax and financial professionals throughout the firm
- Provide tax technical support, create tailored solutions, and deliver industry expertise to our clients
- Serve as a technical resource for the firm (review and manage) on complex issues, both domestic and internationally
- Provide fluid buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence on transactions including key risks, remedies, and potential adjustments to the purchase price
- Assist in the development and training of other tax staff and provide timely feedback on engagement reviews and year end reviews
- Responsible for developing and maintaining superior client relationships
- Share responsibility for all business aspects of client relationships including billing, collecting, and maintaining profitability
- Develop external relationships with a goal of fostering business development opportunities with other professional advisors
- Participate in cross-selling of other departments' services offered by the firm
- Participate in strategic marketing and branding initiatives to increase revenues and help develop marketing materials to highlight the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions practice capabilities
What We Seek:
Years+ experience required : 10 + years of relevant tax experience at a public accounting firm
Education required : Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field of study required
Certification require d/ preferred : CPA license required- Broad exposure to federal, state, and international income taxation matters
- Superior skills in the following areas:
- Buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence
- Tax structuring and analysis
- Federal, international, and state and local tax planning
- Identifying solution to risks and tax optimization
- Reviewing of various tax filings and reporting requirements
- Ability to work at the fast pace of deals, providing timely communication on key risks and potential adjustments
- Demonstrated leadership, training, mentoring and staff development skills
- Ability to develop future leaders of the firm and lead by positive example
- Strong commitment to professional advancement
- Ability to travel to client locations when needed
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

The salary range for this role takes into account many factors including, but not limited to, years and type of experience, skill sets, and certifications. The projected salary range for this position is $138,000 - $301,000- We are committed to diversity, in all of its forms, in our workforce
