We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and up to a maximum of 30 years, demonstrating a deep understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and strategy. This role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, estate, gift and high net worth individual tax.
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications for business decisions and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license or EA certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, with a maximum of 30 years.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
