Marcum LLP is seeking a Senior Manager in the Real Estate Practice to join our growing and well established national firm in our New York, office. This position requires an experienced Tax professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• The candidate must be a CPA
• A Master’s Degree in Taxation is preferred
• The candidate should have 10 to 15 years of experience specifically handling real estate partnerships with some experience handling REITS and corporate structures involving real estate
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong Subchapter K (partnership) skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and writing skills)
• The ability to manage client relationships
• The ability to plan for and oversee the timely completion of engagements
• The candidate should be presentable, personable and demonstrate partner potential
• Very good training skills and the ability to supervise large engagements
• Excellent judgement and the ability to work independently
• The candidate’s past experience should demonstrate career stability

Compensation Range

Salary: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00
